Primary Care East within Region Skåne, Hässleholm area, is looking for an engaged specialist doctor in general medicine who wants to help develop patient-centered care. You will have the opportunity to work at one or more different health centers in the area, which gives you variety in your work and a broad contact with different patient groups. The health centers are in many ways representative of primary care where you will meet patients of all ages with various diseases and conditions. Rotation between units gives you the opportunity to build good relationships with both colleagues and patients as well as develop your clinical competence in different environments. As a specialist doctor in Primary Care East, you will always receive support from a large and dedicated team. Here we work closely together with several professional groups at the health center, and the collegial collaboration is strong where you have good opportunities to exchange knowledge, discuss patient cases, and develop together. The rural areas of Skåne and their health centers are constantly evolving, and you will have the opportunity to be part of and drive improvement projects.

The Hässleholm area has a dedicated and development-oriented healthcare environment where you as a specialist doctor play an important role in providing safe and close care for all ages and at all stages of life. The Hässleholm area includes the health centers Vänhem, Solbrinken, Vittsjö, Perstorp, Åparken, Osby, Vinslöv, and Sösdala, and you can easily reach them by train and bus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist doctor with us, you will use your entire competence within the field of general medicine. Your tasks include the usual duties at a health center. This includes, for example, patient receptions for both scheduled and acute visits, health checks, and managing and following up patients with chronic diseases.

With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences so that you can enter the work in the best possible way. Working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, and there is an opportunity to work part-time if you wish. We are responsive to your wishes regarding employment level, schedule, and personal development. Furthermore, we can offer a competitive salary.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare, and have specialist competence in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are also required.
